BLower Motor plumbing-Help needed

I just bought a 572 with a 10-71 blower on it. The motors came out of Keep Trucking, the 42 OuterLimits owned by Applegate. Anyway the were puulled apart and rebuild. I picked one of them up last weekend. My question is how to plum the hoses on the motor/intercooler. Im running the standard one oulet pump and not the 2 stage. Ive been told many differant things on how to do this. Im looking for some one who alreay has one of thes style motors plumbed with the single set up or who has plumbed one of these.
2 styles i hear were:1. Use a pick up foot on the transome to feed the motor/oil cooler and dump the water out the exhaust. For the inter cooler just use the water rushing in the leg to cool the chiller
2. Block off the bravo inlet, Use a foot pick up for the intercooler and also use a foot pick up foot the motor/oil cooler.
I have really no clue where to dump what to use as pick ups or how much cooling is needed.
Help is much appriciated.
Mike

any pick up you add will scrub speed.

are you using an imco or similiar drive?

if you are , then you can plumb the inter cooler in the strainer with a 1 way valve. this will alleviate any excess pressure from using the imco style drive, as well as solve your plumbing issue.

if not you can use a y fitting, not a tee, to split the water flow on the out of the water pump. y's disrupt the flow much, much less than tee's. just make sure you split it before the cooler as to make sure you get the coldest water possible thru the inter coooler.
