Beware of the shag!!!!

One of the reasons I replaced the carpet on bunks to the poly boards on my lift. Just erroring on the safe side.
I've seen a couple boats that did have blisters right where the carpeted bunks are, no where else. So figured there was something to it.

Delamination
The gel was delaminating from the boat is sheets. This was not good. He loaded the boat and gel coat chips and sheets were left at the launch. Some people do tolerate the blisters but this was severe. The glass was in great shape. It is a tough job but.......
Dave, the Yard Arms are actually great stands. The others are for safety. I have been to a shop or two that use Yard Arms for the only support and watched as the boat swung back and fourth as they worked.
Yikes!!!!
