Having owned a 35 Fountain classic, I feel they are very solid boats with a very small step that can be driven very hard and turned hard (properly of course) without incident. On the other hand, I've see quite a few 32 Sunsation accident reports the past few summers. They either attract a lot of unexperienced drivers or they swap ends easily or both. They are quick hulls though.

Good grief! Are these two boats your only choices?
I would choose neither and start over! :D |
I've owned both, 35 Fountain hands down more solid predictable ride, just ask the wife:D

There you go, from the horses mouth. I too would go with a 35 Fountain. I have been in a 32 (not a newer one) but have never been in a 35 Fountain. But I like them. |

This boat is blow-out priced and needs an owner. 525EFIs takes it to 92mph; and the ride blows away any of the other boats you mention.
Brian Tillett ActiveThunderAVH(a)aol.com You surprise me Brian. On 1 hand you preach the lanyard feature, now you want to try to sell a boat that runs 92mph to someone that claims they have no experience with speed boats. ;) |

I will say that a 92mph boat is way too much for someone with little or no performance experience. I think everyone here (for the most part) have owned cruisers, then a 40mph boat, then a 60ish then 70 or 80 & so on. Seat time my friends, seat time........... |

Active Thunder will not throw you the keys with a "Have Fun!" We take care of our family of owners. You can guarantee that. (As for the CA incident, we couldn't exactly put his lanyard on for him.) |
