Default I will be chit!!!!

Well I get up this morning all ready to hit the lake and start my weekend, the wife is packing the clothes and I am washing the boat down. I always hit the ignition for a second to make sure power is good before I leave for the water.......BAM, nothing, battery is dead as hell. Got the charger on it now, brand new battery this year. I bet the wife left the stereo on more than likely. I guess from now on out its time to use the master switch, bad on my end I guess.

I use the same post configuration for the truck battery as the boat. If I had to I could float the boat off then park the truck and swap battery. Fire it up on all and charge the dead one, put battery back in truck.

Just I figured.......Radio was left on, volume killed. Had a blast riding the weekend and today, now its time to go back to work like the rest of you guys! Boat is up and running again fine, no problems the entire weekend. Speaking of the boat ramps......I never hold folks up, its kinda like a rule of thumb, get your mess on the trailer and get out of the way. I don't use a public ramp here on our lake, but one in the subdivision. Two old farts out there today with a chittarel 18 footer, tied the ramp up for 30 minutes. Took them all of 15 to get it on the trailer, then they had to unload all of their junk out of it, strap it down in about 4 places and then cover it and strap that down, all on the pad at the ramp. I'm heading to the sign shop tomorrow and have a sign made...........Please put your boat on the trailer and move it to the parking lot up the hill to do anything other than load and unload. You aren't the only one using the ramp. My wife was fummmmming mad at them, I was laughing my arse off, there should be a law against boat ignorance.

I just wonder what the hell goes thru these peoples minds when they see boats in the water waiting to be loaded and trucks with empty trailers waiting on top of the ramp pad???

You are selling the wrong commodity brother........try food sales, people will always eat I promise you, no matter what! 2007 has been my best year out of the past 10 or so I've been doing it, the wife has no problems spending it though.
