2003 Baja 20' Outlaw
26 Baja Outlaw or Donzi 27 ZR?????

Thinking of taking the plunge and buying a new boat. I currently have a 20 Outlaw and absolutely love the boat, but when things get a little rough it has me wishing for something bigger. I was stuck on the 26 for a long time, but I came across the Donzi on accident. My fiancee saw one this past weekend and had me thinking. Any comments on the two? Price wise they are pretty similar, I even think the Donzi with the 525 is cheaper then the Outlaw with the same motor. I know there are other possibilities, but it is definately between these two. Who has one of these and let me know what you think.

Thanks in advance...Rob B

boatless and on the hunt
Donzi will be faster, and the level of quality should exceed the outlaw as well. I havent ridden in either, so I cant comment on the ride quality/handling of the two.

I'd go Donzi without a second thought exspecially if pricing is anywhere comparable. Baja is a nice boat but the Donzi is a step or two up in terms of attention to detail and rigging. Sharper strakes, chimes is ONE example where you'll easily see the diff in what I refer to as attention to detail. I have not ridden in either so my opion is strictly from seeing both up close and personal.

The Donzi will be faster no doubt. As for anything else thats personal, I like the 27 ZR myself

Skip the 26/27 foot and go to 29/30 with twins. You will eventually anyway so might as well do it now and save a bunch of time and $$$.

Concealed, I agree with BajaFresh....for what you can buy a 525 26'Outlaw for you can get a late model 30'W/twins...check our site fastboats.com we have a few available. Also have a 2007 30'at a great price.
