I am sure others will pipe in, but at the Shootout I asked them the same question and they said they do 1-2 poker runs a year and that is it right now. With different directions in OSS and others etc., they aren't racing this year.

Marc,
I was sworn to secrecy, so I don't know what you are talking about!

Here's some more pics.

Anyone want to guess on the size of the props on the SL70?

W,
Close to the diameter of the props, actually the dia. is 34.5 ". Here's some more pics of the 1st M6000 in the mold, the Carbon Fiber prep area , and another of the SL70's prop.

Next guess what the pitch is, of these bad boys props?

MM,
Actually your boat, in the new 2008 step bottom design, is a Mystic designed hull!! I believe Concept has only built 5-6 of the new step bottom hulls. Did you see the Concept test in powerboat mag last month?
You are already close to the Mystic heritage, although getting a ride in Miss Longlite is going to take a while, there is already quite a waiting list!

Yeah,
It's unbelievenable, especially the level of detail in the boat. The SL70 will be hitting the water SOON for it's seatrial, can't wait to see her run.

MM,
Yeah the crew @ Mystic are really a very dedicated group. Their passion is making BIG, FAST leading edge boats. Every thing designed by JC is done in AUTO CAD.
Mystic's lead turbine engineer, (Dan Hoover) is in San Deigo right now, supporting the Formula Hydroplane team for the race this weekend. Dan, good luck, and bring the trophy home buddy!

Still no guesses on the prop size huh?

Well, the SL700 went on her maiden sea trial yesterday, and she hit 76.3 MPH with 1000 gallons of diesel on board and the props were all over the rev. limiters! She is going to need bigger props than the 34.5" x 61" PROPS she has now!!!
The owner is thrilled and so is John Cosker and co.! I'm headed to the marina now, hopefully post some pics later today.
Dean

BTW, she weighed in @ 52,000 lbs!
