Al Copeland's Toys
Was going through some pix I took in the past and thought someone might be interested in Al Copeland's other passion. This is only a small sample of the cars, motorcycles, and trucks in his collection. What's ironic in the first pic (taken in 2008) is the mural on the 18 wheeler. Al was showing us his creation well before it's unveiling last year.

They used to bring EVERYTHING to Destin for the fourth of July every year. It looked like a circus traveling down the road. It really was a sight to see. He's had some cool stuff.

The first time I went to Key West in 1997 my wife and I had bought 2 tickets to a VIP tent right in the pits, thought we were rockstars. The whole beach outside shoreline in those days was VIP. We were watching the races and the VIP tent next to us was very active, I noticed a nice fellow next to us and exchanged smalltalk with him, seemed like a great guy. M y wife noticed this guy had a watch on that appeared to either be fake or this guy was loaded. This thing was wall to wall diamonds. He walked out of the tent and I watched him walk across the dock and onto this yatcht parked right behind us ,this guy had at least 20 boss hog v-8 bikes, a few high end cars and like 4 skakers parked in a tidy little package next to his 150 ft plus boat. He gave us some tickets to a party he was hosting. Anyone who has been there knows what his parties and hospitality is all about. Key West will never be the same without that guy around. What a shame he is gone, people like him are few and far between............
