I'd have to say it depends on where you boat.... A local bud on the lake went from his 42 Fountain to a 33 Daytona and then to a 28 Daytona with ilmor 625s- kept getting faster as he shrunk, more than enough boat for conditions, easier to trailer/clean/manuever- in rougher water size matters but do you ever get in the rough water?
TJ- I know your boat, it's history and it's nice- I just don't want a BR:( |
Cattitude. Why do you want to go smaller?
TJ- I know your boat, it's history and it's nice I have a friend that has a 28 but I do not see that much better ride then what I have. The 28 is only 1' longer then what I got. |

Don't know if this is a good thing or not? I have a friend that has a 28 but I do not see that much better ride then what I have. The 28 is only 1' longer then what I got. Yea, it's a good thing- I want to buy a 26- I bought the 30 so my wife could have somewhat of a cabin. Just got divorced- a mild 26 is all I need for where I boat- downsizing the budget, if the toter sells first I'll probably keep the 30- it was real nice on the grand lake slop a few weeks ago when they had the PR |
He wants to go smaller so he can have mine.:cool-smiley-027:
