The only Pythons Jim built were the 18,20,24,34 and a couple 31 cats.

Tell Capt. Nabber Jason from Lake of the Ozarks says hi next time you see him. I'll take my 30 footer with a canopy and a 525EFFI please
|
Thats why ours is a prototype 30, it the one he is using to craft the mold. He also has a mold for an 18, 24, not sure about the others.

So if the builder/owner of python boats has passed away and he never made a 30ft boat then what makes this a Python?

What's the beam on the 30'? Are you going with SB's or BBs?

DId tom get the molds for the 18 also i thought he only had the 24, I loved riding in his personal 18' I was there when he put in the turn fin, i would love that for evening outings here at LOTO, wonder what i could get one bare fiberglass for.?

Tom bought the rights to the name after Jim passed. Tom doesn't have the mold for the 18 at his place I believe they are still south. I asked him the same thing about building me a hull after I gave up on my sweet 16. He might consider selling his 18 from what he tol;d me , if your interested.
This one is going to have twin 540 n/a's pushing 730 hp , going to use our TRS drives to do a fair comparision to our old hull and then upgrade to Conrads . I know old tech. but we like the fact there is a trans , and Bravos won't hold up. Never had a problem with the TRS's and we don't baby them either ,just ask around. |

Who ended up with the Python boat molds?

I have enough I am not using. Before Jim passed we had discussed me taking the molds but never did.
