Yeah I wouldn't be so sure of that...I was just down last weekend for H20 International VW/Audi show and costal hgwy was tore up with construction, some of us think the did it on purpose. It KILLED alot of lowered VW, the manhole covers stuck up about 6-8 inche's with no asphault around them. They didn't get asphault around them until Sunday... Here are some pics from our weekend down there.

If any of you have the chance, come by the Commander on 14th and say hello. I'll be around town with the Camaro all weekend (see below).
Coastal highway is still a mess right now, but they have 2 of the 4 lanes repaved already. The traffic is a little congested between 20th street and 60th street with the paving project, but the rest of the town is OK. Unfortunately that road is a state highway so the city has no control over the repair projects. The city raised hell about the timing, but the state went ahead as scheduled. Go figure.

Hey Will,
I'm driving my vette down tomorrow morning. A buddy is trailering his 32 Hi-Boy down as well. Should be there around 11. What's going on at the Commander? I think that we plan on going to Hooters and that parking lot @ Roses (I think that it's around 90th street). Call me on my cell if you see me.
