Is it really a genuine Cigarette? I'm not so sure. I've always thought the first year, 1969, was a Cary.

Interesting, I see now. Might be a custom lid for the forward benches. What was the first year for the 28 Open?

It's pretty funky, too bad it's on the other coast.

The Volvo's were a great drive. The only problem was they could not trim them. They worked just fine behind small block Fords and Chevys.

Volvo did make a drive that had trim, it was a 270 T.
I had them on my 1974 28 SS. The drives I had had Speedmaster lowers.

i looked at 2 1970's , 1 71' , 2 72's ,1 73' and 1 74'..before buying 1 of the 72's... it was by far in the best shape...i belive it is possible that it is a 1969...

few others i have on file...
1st was listed with TNT that was modded for stand up bolsters..

second is 1 converted to a cc with egg beaters..

3rd is george bush "fidelity" at his library in texas..

there was 1 recently listed in the OSO classifieds that was a nice , totally updated single bb center console..

not that it means anything to most , 16 so far that i know of...

this one makes #17..
