Question OT: 2000 Chevy 2500 Wiring

First let me say sorry to BajaBob38 for posting another OT.

i am installing a remote start on my truck. i was wondering if there are any GM Service people out there, or anybody who has done this on a newer Chevy Truck. I was looking for wiring color codes for the ignition system and the factory alarm system.

This may save hours of playing with a multimeter.
