One of the best news sites I have read is:
www.abc7.com
(Thanks Ashley)
This site is giving good info instead of quotes like:
Fatal boat crash with a high performance boat in a 35 mph lake or alcohol unkonwn. These sites are not giving any indepth info of why HTM was on this lake. Pretty much lame data.
Let's not let HTM's loss go down for no reason.
*********BE SAFE IN 2002*******
Install that safety switch. For now no one forces U to wear a jacket, if you don't at least clip that lanyard to your body so if you get pitched out your boat decreases the chance to do damage to someone else on the lake.
Let's just use common sense. Know when to say no. Ex. Wind condition, water conditions, alcohol, remember you should or are responsible for your passengers.
Don't get me wrong. I love this sport. I work 2 jobs in the summer so I can do this sport in my 85+mph cat. I don't want to sound like a stick in the mud. All I am saying is let's think b-4 we do or fun in the sun will be taken away sooner.
Notice I said sooner. The sad news about HTM has just accelerated our sport to the public eyes and ears. It is just a matter of time and we wll SOON lose our sport. So when we do b-4 we THINK the publlic will hear about it. Thanks for your time, Mike.
