Default bungee things????

Not sure if ya know what I am talking about, but Where do I get the mounting things that go to the jackplate for an outboard to clip bungees to, like the Stock class raceboats use???

I assume you are talking about the ones that keep the motors from bouncing? You can use a mounting eye like they use on the transoms of most boats (like a bow eye also). Then you just get the cord from any hardware store and use what I call hog rings to hold them on.

Yeah,

thats what I mean, I was thinking that, and will probably do just that, so I can gat on the water this weekend, but I was thinking of spending the $$ and getting something a little nicer, like I have seen on the raceboats.

Great idea Dave,

looks like a lifting eye that was used as a nut on a bolt coming thru from the backside of the plate, now that I can get locally, and not have to drill the jackplate. The ones I saw on Stickerboys old boat looked a lot more trick, but that will work just fine.

Thanks,

Rick

McMaster Carr. Look for heavy duty eye nuts.

Thats what I was thinking, but not thru transom, thru Jackplate instead.

Yes, if there is a jackplate, then right to the jackplate!
