Default Best things about being boatless during the winter

Well, as of today, I am now boatless...The Donzi was delivered to it's new owner, who has "big plans" for it (lots of HP).... I can't wait to see it when he gets it done.
So, I get home, & realize...the shop is empty, no boat...First time in over 10 years that I've been without a boat. Then I start thinking, what's wrong with being boatless during the winter???? I thought of several good things....

1. NO BOAT PAYMENT!!!
2. I can throw away that insurance renewal notice.
3. No winter maintenance
4. No worry prepping the boat for a hard freeze....oh wait, it doesn't get cold in the South , yeah right!!!
5. I will have more time to surf the OSO Classifieds.

Ok, so I could only come up with 5 really good things...LOL....I do have a "winter project" though. I have to make the shop bigger to make room for the 32 Thunder, that will be there in the Spring

Guess you won't be needing that 540 Bowtie now?

It's cool bro...Good luck with the new boat when it comes.

I'm spreading the word about your 540....It's the off season, I'm sure you'll sell it.
You'll have to take a run over this way when ya get your boat.

It really isn't too bad here, I test Navy boats thru-out the year, I have been on the water when the temp was in the teens....That really makes for a looooong day.

Not too bad here either...no knuckleheads on the water

Dam ramp gets a little slippery when the ice forms
