Thanks

Shulas Steakhouse is next to your hotel but I have never eaten there. You will want to eat wherever there is the shortest line! You are right in the middle of the mayhem.
For a $$$ cool place, try Chimas (might be off in the spelling), it is on Las Olas and is a Brazilian Steakhouse where they bring out slabs of meat and cut it on your plate. Be hungry, skip the salad and be sure to fill up on the good meat ( skip the chicken, skirt steak cheap stuff).

Coconuts on the intercoastal I like but I am sure it will be slammed boat show weekend.

Spazio on the beach is also good, great atmosphere and good people watching.

Cafe del Mar is also on the beach and same owners as Spazio

Casa D'Angelo is some of the best food in Lauderdale but hard to get in on the weekends. If you can get in, this would be my first choice.

Cafe Martarano is my personal favorite but not cheap. It is a dining experience.

Now if you want to eat until you puke,

There a bunch of them on Las Olas but I think they are over priced and good not great.

Shulas thumbs down

Blue Martini is good for an after dinner drink, there is now a PF Changs and a Seasons 52 next to it.

The St. Regis and The Atlantic have restaurants very pricey not my favorites but good view of the Ocean.

Go North on A1A to a great restaurant called Cafe Del Mar. It's just North of Las Olas Blvd. The maitre'd is Arturo. Mention I sent you.

Directly across the street from where you are staying is the Bahia Cabana, good for lunch and late night drink when all else is closed.

Scarletts is great, they are going with the wrong girls.

Yep, definately recommended. Its a great time watching Steve go to 'work' too.

"Did he just go to the bathroom? Did he just leave her at the bar?"

Haven't been in a couple of years, but I used to love the Italian at Bravos in the strip mall close to the old Pierr 66
