Jupiter is a great boat, very good attention to detail and they hold their value well. The 27 rides a lot better with 2 strokes. The 4 strokes are too heavy for the boat. They replaced the 27 with a 29 to accommodate the heavier engines,

They look to be very nice center counsels. I really like the lines on the hulls.

Jupiter is one of THE top of the line cc's more geared toward fishing. However they do have some options with awesome bolster seats that are super comfortable.

Since this is a go-fast type of forum you will not find a lot more info on Jupiter and other boats like this . Check out the Florida Fishing Forum or The Hull Truth website.

I personally love the 31 Jupiter.

That was the 27 you drove. The 31 was a "me too" boat around here about 4 years ago. In my buddy's neighborhood there were 3 Navy 31's on lifts within 500 feet. They got real expensive and then the Venture 34/39 became the new "me too" boat. I think the boats are cool but they are not super fast when compared to other CC's.

We were one of the largest stocking dealer for Jupiter until this year. Some things to keep in mind:

Pretty boat with nice lines and most of ours were painted very nice.

Warranty on the boat starts the day it hits the dealer lot!

The boats ride very nice in small chop but will be wet in following seas due to the extreme stern lift they design in the hull, flat pad with lifting strakes to the stern. You can't lift the bow with a crane, you must slow down.

Warranty on the powder coat is zero!

We never had issues with construction, but had to replace all the interiors in the last five or six boats due to mold under the vinyl. (this is a vendor issue)

The 38 Jupiter will run 58 mph with triple F250 Yamahas, 31 about 54 and the 29 about 56. (I like the 29 best of all the boats because it has a little up angle while running) I also have one new 29 FS with twin F250 engines for cost.

Resale is not that good, try trading a 31 back in, I have many customers with them.

We sold the last three 38 boats for cost or less and they still sat on the lot. The last four 31 Models we made tiny money and the 31 cuddy we lost big. The 27 was like the 29, a little hot rod feeling.

In a back to back run with a 33 Hydra-Sports with a potential customer on a 38 who flew in from N. C. we got soaked in the 38 before we could get two miles offshore inside the reef. (it was blowing and rough, real threes and fours) He countered that no boat would be dry and after much begging we went in the Hydra center. Made it to the Gulf stream got splashed twice, two miles per hour faster into the seas and four miles an hour faster in following. Both boats triple F250 top speed 58. His closing comment was he would never buy a "production boat", go figure and it was 100K less.

The 31 runs pretty much like a heavy Contender 31.

Shop the boat hard if you have to have one and you will get them cheap.

We decided to end our relationship and head another direction on the custom boat, especially after they did not answer their phones (cell or office) for six weeks after they moved. from the east coast to the west.
