OUTERLIMITS POWERBOATS EXPANDS BORDERS
ADDS CANADIAN DEALERSHIP
Mike Fiore, owner and president of Outerlimits Powerboats, in conjunction with South Florida dealer, Pierre Gaudreau of Hideaway Marina, announced the addition of a new dealer in Quebec, taking Bristol, Rhode Island-based Outerlimits outside the U.S. borders. Marina Gagnon, located 45 minute outside of Montreal, will offer all models of Outerlimits Powerboats, starting with the popular 39’ Quattro, 42’ Legacy and 46’ Limited.

Brothers, Denis, Normand and Ronald Trubiano are long-time customers of Gaudreau’s and recently sold a family business to realize their dream of owning a marina. They created a partnership with Marina Gagnon, a 1.2 million s.f. property, near the Richelieu River and Lake Champlain in St. Paul de l’Ile-aux-Noix, a town with the highest concentration of pleasure boats in the province of Quebec. The strategically located site offers 150 wet slips, 500 dry storage units and a 65,000 s.f. showroom that features boats up to 70’. Multiple services and amenities are available at the 20,000 s.f. shop, including full mechanical and engine re-building, cabinetry, upholstery refurbishing, custom paint, boat preparation and transport.

Gagnon Marina will work with Hideaway Marina to share customers, inventory and services, providing a smooth link for boater both in Canada and in Florida. “There will be no lapse between seasons for the north and south,” says Gaudreau, “It is the perfect relationship, built on years of working together. We can transport the boats back and forth and offer customers a smooth transition to their seasonal boating needs.”

Denis Trubiano agrees, “We now have the best of both worlds—boating in Canada’s beautiful waterways all summer, then taking advantage of Florida’s amenities in the winter.”

Hideaway Marina has been an Outerlimits dealer for over three years, adding the custom-built powerboats to its sport cruiser and fishing boat inventory. As a performance boat enthusiast, Gaudreau found the quality, dependability and luxury of Outerlimits to perfectly suit his tastes and customer base. He and the Trubiano’s discussed the benefits of the teamwork concept and Fiore was supportive. Having successfully developed customer relationships in the Middle East and Europe, he seeks to continue his company’s market expansion. “There are so many people in our boating circles from Canada who come to Florida for events and have second homes here, this is a great way for us to continue to grow and service them through our dealers,” says Fiore. “It is the literal win-win—for us and for our customers,” he adds.

This makes it seem that this is the first Outerlimits dealer outside the US - I thought Jim Earle was an Outerlimits dealer as well?
