Tuff 28
Hi!
Congratulations Mark. Just awesome. Maybe I can get my wife with me to Canada for a test run. A Laveycraft EVO 28 runs 88 mph with a 525 EFI, so TUFF 28 is definitly fast.
Unfortunately the Merc 525 EFI is not CE approved in Europe, so Merc 600 Sci running 100 mph will be the ticket to heaven.
The twin outboard version is also very fast. 90,1 mph with twin 250 XS engines is awesome. My 1985 Phantom 25 with twin 2.5 EFI SS runs 88 mph.... But its a offshore race hull...

It’s not the perfect example (since we have no video of Tuff28 running in the rough) and it’s not even the I/O. This video was from last year. Regardless, near the end there is a segment where we meet up with some nice people in a 26 Sonic who run with us for a bit, till Mark and I decide to get up and leave, at will. The Sonic managed a 67...? The very end, Mark takes the Sonic owner for a ride in a “light chop” it’s not much, but it’s the best I can do for now... We were running mid 80’s when Mark starts to pull away.
Anyway, I take constructive criticism very well, what I have learned is that we need to take some rough water running shots for next years video.
Thanks for that guys, I’ll do my best...
