Looking for a Capt. --> West Palm to Abaco
My dad just bought a new boat and he needs to get it to his house in Treasure Cay, Abaco, Bahamas. The boat can leave from anywhere in the vicinity of West Palm Beach. He is looking to hire a captain who is familiar with the trip, to help him take it over. The boat is a 26' CC w/ twins. He can make the trip as soon as the next couple days. The sooner the better, as he needs to get back to his house in CT asap. He is in FL now and can meet with potential candidates right away to discuss arrangements, payment, etc.
Does anyone here have someone they could recommend? Thanks in advance.

Let me know if it doesn't work out. I keep my Bertram at Sailfish Point in Stuart FL in the winter & know plenty of Captains there who know the Abacos like the back of their hand. Tell your Dad that it's getting cold here in CT & he should think about staying a little longer.........like, for the winter

Thx. everyone for the replies. I spoke with him today and he is pretty sure he has secured someone to help out.
DJD, No question winter is on our doorstep! I just came in from taking the dogs out for the last time tonight and it was ch-ch-ch-chilly! He usually spends the holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years) here in CT, then down to the Bahamas immediately thereafter.
