My understanding is that there is minimal different in speed between a 575 and 525 in a real application. So I am pretty sure a 525 bravo mti would run at least 125. This was a pure pleasure version that I drove by the way, with no tweaking or prop swaping.
Anyway, I personally wouldn't buy any of the boats mentioned without #6's, you will get your money back and more plus have a marketable boat.

44mti, wasn't the 04 39 mti that was in powerboat magazine with 575's a xr/its drive boat that was for sale in the ozarks for quite some time? I saw it running down at loto almost every time i was there for several years. I believe it was bone stock with very few hours and it ran in the mid 1 teens during the powerboat article. This boat has come a long way even just since 2004. Hammer

The Aerospeed Marine race MTI was fitted with bravos and was pretty quick. as was the vortec powered Pacemaker, it had 4 x4 on the back.

Not really for sure what that boat ran for speeds. It was the first race/pleasure version that Randy built I believe. It orignally had some custom motors in it with very small blowers from competition marine I believe.
Then Bill Hionass wanted to start carring the line so he bought the boat and put the 575's in it. He still owned it when he went under and the guy from ozarks bought it cheap planning on making some $$$ on it. He has turned down a couple of desent offers which I bet he wishes he hadn't. Anyway, I think that is a pretty good example of how the bravos effect resale on a cat. They actually work great on a small cat like that with mild power, but most people are scared of them from what I have seen. Just ask Franky how many they have sold and how many they have rerigged with 6's. Hope this helps.

North Texas Fountain had it. That is the one 44MTI ran on the river (w/ Herrings) and two weeks later I ran it with the salesman, 44MTI and my wife (w/merc's) I was popping the rev limiters at 121 and he saw 125 w/Scism on the river. That was my first time to drive a MTI and it was smooth as silk on Texoma. BTW, that boat is still for sale. I was amazed that you can cruise @ those speeds and have a conversation. Needless to say, the rest is history!
