That is unbelievable. Where is all the water going? It makes me wonder if some of these foreign ships are sucking in our fresh water in the great lakes for ballast and pumping it out in their country for sale after they purify it? I see the water is down about 3ft. right now in Lake St. Clair and the water level is down in Lake Superior. It's got to be going somewhere?

We're actually about 19' down from "Full Pool" right now.

It's a combination of the drought (we're down 19" of rain or so YTD + what we were down last year) and the false letting of water out.

Lake Lanier feeds over to AL, and down to FL. They have to release water so some endangered species of muscles in FL doesn't die... And over the past we've had to release water to raise the river levels in AL so they could float some barges, and make sure their nuclear plant doesn't melt down.

Really sucks!

It is really that low. I have to move my dock out every 7-10 days. I'm one of the few in my neighborhood that hasn't given up and many docks and boats are sitting on the ground. The lake will return to it's normal level , sooner or later.

That's really sucks for you guys :( Keep your chin up though. We went from down over 11' to up over 12' in just a couple months. Kept things interesting around here over the Summer ;)
