use an exhisting hull and cut away. add to it , cut it in half length or width wise. pop a small insert plug in it to add a step. or 2 or 3.
beauty about fiber glass is that it is like working with glue and paper or wood and with some imagination and knowledge you can create almost anything.

Do they use an actual boat and do it with? I thought that boats was made in molds and laid. I thought the molds was metal.

I used to run in some really snotty stuff and still hang with the big boys. It liked a little tab in big seas to fly level but it never did anything unexpected. I had one day in a poker run where we had an inconsistant 3-4 foot chop in Barnegat bay where I set the tabs and trim and was able to maintain a consistant 65-70mph and ended up passing most of the twin engine 525 boats. They would run up to 75/80 fly off a wave back down and repeat where I was just knifeing through. I pizzed off one guy so bad he sold his 525 boat for a big powered Cigarette!:D

29 and 27 are essentially the same boat.The 29 has a swim platfrom.They are one of the best rough water boats in there class.Very Well Balanced

Thanks guys. Yeah now that my Scarab is sold, I'm looking at single engine 27-30 footers. Want a fast hull, but don't want to get my as$ kicked in the rough stuff. I always liked the way they looked too! Also looking at the 30 Activator. Anyone ever try to compare those two (assuming they have the same power/rigging)?

The rigging was beautiful on my Krypt and the fit and finish was above average to very good.
My only negative is that they are not nationally well known and it took a while to sell mine. If you are looking to keep it for a while then I would highly recomend buying a Kryptonite. If you plan on selling in a few years then you may want a more well known brand. Kryptonite, Activator, Superboat, etc. are all well known and respected in these circles, however most pleasure boaters only know the big names.
