Property taxes in NJ range from about $5000 to a $40,000 locally per year. How much is that reservoir tax?

We have a Milfoil sticker that we need to buy. The money is sapposed to go towards trying to get rid of the millfoil but I guess now lots of it goes into the general fund....

A fee hopefully keeps the douchebag count on the water down a bit (too much to ask for?).

50.00 for use of the lake,Its Mississippi the property tax's are cheap here

Like BRET said I'm sure the money will go the administration, They haven't dredged here in 20 years, Last year they just replaced some of the channel markers, added a no wake zone on the upper river.

I am sure between the Democrats fishing here and the rednecks ,they might not know what the getting into

Challenge them, people will try and charge you anything so long as they think no one will question. Hell, some lady represented herself in a suit against Kmart for taxing toilet paper - and she one. http://cosmos.bcst.yahoo.com/up/play...26720&src=news

The TX supreme court ruled a couple of years ago that school districts were not allowed to assess property taxes. If you let them they will tax you for the air you breath. Whatever happend to the american way - people will protest at a funeral, but not the governent for taxation.............

What's new? The US Forest Service is charging people to use the forest now. The money which was suppose to be used to maintain forest facilities, is actually being used to bulldoze away campgrounds and other services, they don't find profitable enough. We are all suppose to be crammed into one little area with our wallets out. They are planning to close roads and trails throughout the country, including 1800 miles worth in El Dorado Forest. The world has truly become warped.
