Boat maker wins award
Eliminating hazardous chemicals to clean the fiberglass in PowerQuest boats won PQ Marine Holdings Inc. the " Design for the Environment " award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The company received the award Friday for its use of Acrastrip, a water - based cleaning product. This in todays Grand Rapids Press.

good work PQ. Nice to see them up and running again.

That was the whole purpose of me dredging it up from the dead. It's posted that they won an award for a new "greener" manufacturing process yet a new boat has rolled outta that factory in almost 3 years.
