Thumbs down Someones been naughty in P1

I was hoping someone on 1 of the sites would ask the question and come up with the answer so i didnt need to ask myself because I've been monitoring for weeeeeks desperate to know..as to why Extremeboats.com in P1 Supersport (Shelton/Hunt) didn't get DQ'd for their 2nd Engine infringement which gave them 2x 1st places in Cowes. If the engines were rebuilt and sealed before Cowes and then ran in Belgium where afterwards there was mucho problems in the pits with Shelton and Hunt reluctantly having to send them to be Dyno'd immediately after the race, having them come in at a whopping 562hp each instead of 525hp. Wots going on? That's a lot of horses extra. Why did they keep their points for Cowes? And their place in the Championship? They only got the DQ in Belgium...but as they were sealed, why not cowes? The penalty for it was to add weight in the last race in Portugal, but just before the race they took the weight out so running fast and light. AGAIN! Why has there been no punishment? Especially after their engine infringement last year also in June 2006. Getting your hands caught in the cookie jar once is bad, but twice!! C'mon
What happened to Red Cards..it's not just a football thing. Surely winning after cheating doesn't quite feel so good, does it??? I don't know..but I'm bloody curious! Bend it like Beckham!!!

Exactly...I was under the impression the 525 number came from the propshaft, not the crank.

Were they running the Mercury 525's in this boat?

Exactly why were they DQ'd. If these were Mercury 525's that HP certainly sounds ok. I have heard they often dyno in the 570s Maybe the DQ was for something else?

That's right, there is a minimum 100 post/6 mos. membership before ballbag soccer is approved.
This is of course waived if you happen to actually have a name from the historic years of Offshore Racing and have the knowledge and history.
I think it's in the bloody member rules somewhere

I wonder why they were still allowed to use:

Footthrottle
Canopy
Seat belts

Read the P1 rules and you will that this is not ok for SuperSport.
