Lake Erie West, looking for "dockaminium"

Hey western lake erie mudchurners.

Q: Does anybody know of a condo style setup with a dock to Lake Erie anywhere between the Ohio border and Detroit?

Would like to find something around Luna Pier, Bolles Harbor, Toledo Beach, Monroe, Frenchtown.

I will be moving to southeast Mich and I want to boat from the house if I can.
Kind of hard to find through search engines.

Thanks.

units come with deeded dock

condo, clubhouse, and best docks around

Good group of people and don't complain about my loud boat or when my parties get kinda out of hand. Walking distance to downtown port clinton. Mr. Eds is a good bar and Docks beach house on the water has new ownership and is my favorite place for great food and live music (when I'm mainland). Great shot to put in bay, if you don't have a pretty big boat its ideal to avoid the big water of Lake Erie, however I love Kellys island and its great for the offshore boat crowd. Very in expensive condos if you're a boater. Have owners that live in Michigan. The owner across the hall from mine mentioned he wanted to sell his, he owns two units. Also full service marina next door with ramp and travel lift.

Thanks for the posts. I need to find something in southeast Michigan. (Erie, Luna Pier, Lasalle, Monroe, Frenchtown) I can't move any farther east back into Ohio.

That Frenchtown Harbor actually looks sweet. My taste but not my budget. But wow. 800 foot beach, near Sterling, same distance as Toledo from PIB, and out of the mudzone. I found their website and it does look like they are custom built when their bought. Maybe if I could slip into one of the early ones for 225. There has to be a foreclosure in there somewhere. It's Michigan.

My thinking was... with the real estate situation as bad as it is in Michigan and the Detroit zone of death, (1 in every 33 mortgages are in foreclosure and rising) maybe I could get something for a good price. I know that there are homes along the country club in Monroe that were 275,000 a few years ago and are now 169,000.

Figured maybe in that partcular area it would trickle to waterfront. Even thought that a rental may be possible if somebody was sitting on one that was empty. I know that I have a property in Ohio that I want to sell, but would rather rent than nothing.

Pardon me, when they're bought.

There were a few 2 bedroom left overs for 199k and they were dealing big time. Not sure what is left.

Ok, I wasn't sure if they built any spec models or all custom.

Maybe I will call them Monday. Just to see. They are pretty sweet, and I like they way they dug the canal(s.)

With as big as the floor plans are, I could do two beds. They are modern designs, so two beds still means two baths.

Thanks for the info.
I'll buy ya a Clamdigger. :)
