Eliminator and Tow Rig stolen from near Miami this weekend

A needed reminder for people bringing boats down to the Miami. I just got delivery of my brand spankin new 32 Advantage in Miami this Friday. The Tow guy had one super serious flatbed rig, and after dropping off my boat went to pick up an Eliminator to take out of state. I got a call Saturday from the company saying they needed me to cancel the cashier's check I paid him with and send him out a new one cause his rig with the boat -and check inside- got stolen (I think in Palm Beach). Unfrickenbelievable, not like you can take it too far cause it needs to stop at weigh-in stations... but thieves don't think that far ahead anyways. It's unfortunate, but you need to be very careful where you keep your boat (and car for that matter)overnight down here. --- John

It wasn't me!! I want a new boat, but can think of better ways to get one. That just sucks for the boat owner and the guy who ownes the rig.

Do you have details of boat and truck, I would love to see someone like this get caught. Everyone keep an eye out.

Man does that bite, I do not think he will get too far though, kinda tough to miss a 75 ft rig. I hope the a-hole gets caught. :(

That sucks, you know I was thinking about doing some boating down there but, Now I don't know. I was down in Miami not long ago visiting some friends when I stopped in a local marina to shop around when I asked the guy about local ramps, he asked me what kind of boat do I have, when I told him I had a Skater, he told me that I better not leave it unattended for long or it will be gone, what the F#$k!!!!!

I was talking to the lady at the main Towing Company.. Stray Cat Towing. I think they send out the assignments to independant drivers. The driver's name is Terri Burris.

The rig was a 50-52 ft. boat hauling trailer with 5th wheel hookup. (I think I may have referred to it as a flatbed originally, it's not. It's a boat only trailer)

Truck is a white Nissan, similar in size to a Freightliner FL 60

On the sides of the doors is his logo "Haulin Glass" (as in haulin fiberglass)

Also, boat was shrink wrapped
