Jammin' on the James, Richmond VA, July 12, 2008 = 200 mile roundtrip party over 3 days, by boat.
Arrive in Richmond, Friday. All day Marina Party starts at 11AM. Poker Run starts on Saturday Morning. Head east to the Chesapeake Bay, through the US Navy "Ghost Fleet", and end in historic Portsmouth, VA, as you pass through the US Navy operations and Shipyards in Newport News, and the rest of Norfolk, VA. Poker Run Party is in Portsmouth on Saturday night. Sunday, everyone heads back in impromptu groups via several hot spots on the James River. ...and yes, that is a stripper pole sticking through the bow of a Fountain. |

Jacksonville, Richmond, and one we ran for the first time last year, was Rock the Bay on the Chesapeake Bay. Jeff and his group did a first class job. Food was the best, and the Nauti-Goose goes all out for this event. It is held in early Sept. First prize was $10,000.00 www.rockthebay.com. Here are a few pics.
