Key West Area Lodging
 

A group of us (4) are renting Harleys in Stuart, FL and riding to Key West the last weekend in March. Looking or a place that will do a two night rental somewhere within 30 miles or so of Key West. Dates needed are 3/28 and 3/29. Most of the places I've found only list weekly or monthly rental.

Any leads?

If you are going to be on bikes, I would only rent in Old Town in KW. The last thing you would want to do is be in KW and have to ride anywhere. Scooters are bad enough, but a Harley.

Are you looking for a private home/condo or similar; or just a nice hotel?

Would rather have a home/condo instead of a hotel just for the reason of having a little more room and a place to keep an eye on the bikes.

I've stayed here before, as have quite a few OSOers. Its a nice place, and you have little "cabanas" for rooms. The parking lot is small, fairly close to the cabanas, and the place is very quiet.

Also, we stayed here for the Key West races this year. Its a hotel, but very nice with big rooms. The parking lot is also small, close in, and they have security.

Those places look nice. More like a place you'd take your wife or girlfriend or both!:eek: We need more of a basic park-the-bikes-and-crash-where ever-you-land kinda place. It's 4 guys, so a single hotel room won't cut it! Ideal place would be a cheap condo with a queen bed, two twin beds and couch.

it a little known secret that the owner of this place also owns several strip clubs in Key West and every time i have stayed there the second floor has had a few pros staying there. uhmmm . . . get a room by the pool for sure, thats where they spend the days :drink::drink:

If you are gonna stay down by Duval, stay at the Truman Annex.
