Skater 36’s and their cousin, the 368, have dominated the Supercat Lite class for many years and will for years to come. While other manufacturers such as M.T.I. splash our hulls, here at Douglas Marine, all of our products are “original” designs, tooled and moulded at our factory. We are copied by some of our competition because our designs and tooling are superior to what they would produce on their own, and as our competition well knows, if it is a Skater, it is the best out there

ITS A SKATER NATION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With all the respect in the world to Skater, that is the dumbest ****ing quote I've read in a long time. You don't need to throw trash like that if you have nothing to gain. Skater builds a great boat and that is coming from an MTI owner but if that quote came directly from Skater, I have to call BS.

Skater never goes to boat shows, hardly ever really advertises!!
Why??? because they don't have to!!!!
Most of us know about about the various "splashes" made over the years....
But where is this new Skater "attitude" coming from???
and why??? for the "new" money in the sport!!????

How did that story go?

A 36 Skater flipped with fatalities

The boat sat in police impound for some time

Later the boat was sitting upside down in who's shop?

yep thats pretty much the story i got, but the 39 has been developed way way beyond the original splashing.
