I love it they say the same boat over and over. :Whatever: Look at all the HUGE boats that the ocean has taken :angry-smiley-038::evilb::party-smiley-004: |
I never understood the whole Lake debate with some saying lakes can't become nasty.
I consider Tampa Bay to be a Lake-like in many ways, being about 40 miles long and nearly 10 miles at its widest, with only a small opening at the south end, yet most will agree that it can be anything but calm on some occasions. I've seen 8 to 10 footers out there on quite a few occasions. |
Pretty cool videos - How can I get a copy of your DVD?

cool vids, If thats from a poker run video ,That would be a good one to have:D If that happened in my Hustler the windscreen would be gone
I bet they had water up the nose:eek: |
We went out with a bunch of 18 and 22 Donzi's to watch the poker run boats arrive. That was a wet ride in my 18:crazy::crazy:. We played in the waves a while and headed back in to White Lake to watch the SOTW guys arrive and dry off.

How quickly the Great Lakes can turn to snot is unreal.
Some areas of Florida were the Gulf Stream all most touches the coast is bad too. Smooth water can turn in the blink of an eye. |
The guys in the back seat didn't see what was coming, they got seated by water.:D

There are lakes.....and then there are the GREAT LAKES. In reality they are inland oceans. Intereting , I was just watching the Discovery channel and they said , if the Great lakes were emptied, it would cover the entire US in 6 FT of water. They hold something like 20% of ALL the fresh water in the world. That's some serious volume. They definatly deserve respect.

I have been to couple races that were canceled or black flag on Lakes Erie and Ontario. I don't recall any in an ocean canceled for being too rough.

http://www.navweaps.com/index_tech/tech-080.htm So I would say it sank because of crew error |
