Until they figure out how NOT to break that that big barge apart - not sure anyone will care.

Not sure why any current large lock would retrofit.

The locks that lead to the Great lakes. If you used this system, along with regulation of ballast water, we may have a fighting chance with stopping foreign sea life from entering our Fresh Waters. With the exception of the water in the "container" for the vessel, There is complete isolation of the water from each side of the lock.
