Who uses a blue tarp?

Who covers their high end boat with a blue tarp?

I drove all over town yesterday and I can't believe how many people drape blue tarps over their high dolar machines...

Those blue tarps are ROUGH on paint jobs, get it shrink wrapped.... Ya'll know who you are.... Good luck!:hitfan: :grinser010:

I put a blue tarp over the fitted cover, to keep the fitted cover nicer/clean

My Bricklayers use them in the winter . I keep my boat in a heated warehouse for the winter months .

I've seen that a few times, I don't have a problem with that, just make sure it's well vented.

The blue tarps when flapping in the wind are like sand paper on gelcoat and paint over time.... :hitfan:

So their OK if the boat is in storage??? (i.e. not outside in the elements)

What difference does it make if its blue or black or whatever??

I guess it would be ok indoors, the biggest problems I have seen are outdoors when they continually flap up against the boat...then they also create pools of water, then when it snows I've even seen wishields collapse.

I see guys who try and construct wood frames to go over the top then they tighten the sides down but it doesn't stop the chafing.
