How is the run, is it worth the trip? How many boats are exspected to be there?

I heard 30 boats are signed up. I did the run in 05 and about 12-15 boats made the run. It is a small run so you will get to meet more club members. Hawks Cay is a nice resort but I believe it has some heavy construction going on right now. The Sat. plan usually is to run down to Key West for the day or atleast to Islamorada for the afternoon.

If your talking about the Miami Boat Show PR, It is a freaking blast... I don;t know if it is still in the same spot since where they use to have it has been sold but the time I hauled from Vermont and back to do it was worth every mile and penny...

I did the run twice in 02 & 03. Had a blast both times! Smaller groups are a lot of fun and you can really save a lot of time docking. In 03 it dropped down in the 50's on Sat. and warmed up the next day to 70's.
