Gas prices

With the talk of gas going to $4.oo a gallon, hate to see what they will be this summer on the water. I'm thinking it will be a good time to buy, some good deals on buying a boat.

It's been 4 bucks at my marina for the better part of 2007. :(
Ya, can't wait to see what it will be like this year.

BUT!!....some people are beginning to think that crude oil price is on the verge of collapse. We shall see.

I remember reading a thread last summer when gas price were $3-$4 on the road. People are willing to spend some serious coin for gas in the boat.

But what the heck you cant take it with ya.

My 44 gallon Excursion fill-ups are over $150. And I have two of them!

I'm hopeful on gas prices this season. It's an election year and the party in office can't afford $4 unleaded at the corner station.

About the only good thing about trailering everywhere. Get to fill up with the "cheap" gas.

GLH 01-10-2008 04:35 PM

$1 or $2 more a gallon would not represent a big add percentage wise on the expense of running one of those rigs for a year...

If only gas was the major expense with boating. None of us would be complaining! LOL
