Default Arnesons on ebay

Has anyone posted the link to this boat that has Arnesons on it? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/29ft-...QQcmdZViewItem Seems like an inexpensive way to get a used set if you part the rest out...

Don't know anything about them or the boat. Just saw it and thought somebody on OSO might see something they need.

From what I can see, same as everyone else I guess, they are Arneson/Borgwarner 1721 drive units. Vintage 1979-81.

They should be good, looks like the Port drive needs some rudder repair.

One drive has a Rolla Chopper Prop (stb) and the other has what looks like a Michigan Wheel. Short Hub Shafts.

The steering cylinders are installed upside down, they just need to be swapped side to side.

Thanks for the expert input. Like I said, I don't know anything about the drives or the boat, but posted it in case someone else might see something they're looking for. Would they be more for someone trying to correctly restore an older boat or are they pretty much outdated?

They would work fine for any boat. I would not see any problems with them.
