The Best Buy credit card isn't any better of a deal that going to a finance company and borrowing it on a signature loan. You're still going to be paying 24%. Credit unions are a better choice rate-wise. Home equity is going to be better still.

A pair of Konrads and a pair of 800's installed is going to be real close to $50 grand. I don't know anyone who would go in for that kind of $$ unsecured, especially considering that the collateral will be worth 50 cents on the dollar 4 months later- at the end of your first boating season. That's also alot of $$ to put into a 20 year old boat.
