Key West rentals - VRBO, etc.....
OK - It's a l-o-n-g way before November, but I was checking for accomodations in KW for the November 2-9 races.
HOLY CRAP!! Any decent hotel wants $300+ per night (the Hyatt wants $745
), so I started looking at rental properties on VRBO.com (Vacation Renal By Owner) and found some interesting possibilities, including a number of places in the Truman Annex. There are others all around the island, including some overlooking the Kings Point (formerly Oceanside) marina on the East end of the island. The ones closer to town are more expensive (duh), but I like the idea of seing water....
Does anyone have any experience with any of these places, good, bad or otherwise? I know that some board members list properties with VRBO.

I have rented from these guys several times and they were great to deal with. They have a place to suite just about every need. rental house is a great way to go down there and really dosent cost as much as many think.

http://www.vrbo.com/116893 We rented this off VRBO for the week last summer. All in all it worked out fine. I would use them again to find another vacation rental.
