Default Recomendations on boat lifts

I know that there have been some post in the past but I cant get the search feature to work for me.
Which boat lifts do you guys recommend and recommend to stay away from?
8,000#, 30' boat

If you need a floating lift then you cannot beat a sunstream floatlift.

Check with Docmanrich37. He is in the business, and manufactures a boat lift motor.

Docmanrich fixed me up back after the storm, new motors, straightened lift out, and even put in 2 jet ski lifts with his faster motors..and get this...everything works:D Rich is now coming back end of month to build another lift for Sandy's Albury Bros. CC and build a wooded launch to make access easier. Last summer he built a floating dock as well, which was alot fun for everyone who went by. Check the pic out.

We have had several Hydo-Hoists and they are tough to beat.

Poly-Lift is a great brand as well, they were developed on LOTO and designed to handle the rough water of the main channel.
