Most Comfortable cabins in a 37+ footer..
Black Thunder 46 Nortech 43 Donzi 38zx Formula 38 If you want something that will not break offshore the strait hull guns have great cabins, just need power to break that 80 mark and will be older than a 2001. |
Black Thunder 43 or 46 but it won't go 80 without some bigger power.

From what I have personally seen I would say either Black Thunder or the newer Active Thunders. There may be some better, but I know these two manufacturers build nice cabins.

We'll have two 37' ATs in the 2008 Miami Boat Show. No better time to check them out.
We just did one with complete Tommy Bahama colors, materials, patterns, and theme. It turned out FANTASTIC. This pic below is from another recently finished AT with (real) carbon fiber and leather. The materials were the owner's choice, and being dark they make the cabin seem a little smaller. Its not. Other popular materials are UltraLeather/Pleather, Corian, Carbon Fiber vinyl, brushed stainless steel, custom wood enclosures, and other custom touches. More pics of my boat can be seen here: http://members.cox.net/activethunder37/photo.htm |

A couple I know are looking for the boat with the most comfortable cabin that fits these criteria: 37+ FT, 2001 or newer, 80+MPH, and less than $300K used, no new boats...........any ideas?????? No cats (insurance reasons), and no Fountains.............

Less than 300K..............Buy a lakehouse and a 28 something and never look back.
I don't care how big of go-fast it is. They get small when you overnight. |
Donzi 38ZX has a real nice cabin and with 525s she will run a tad over 80

This is my 43 Nortech. The same can be done on a 39 Nortech as well. You pick everything, from materials to the stitching if so desired. The headroom is 6'7" at the tallest point in the cabin or 6'1" at the sink/fridge/micro area. The head is a true walk in head with 6'7" headroom, no step ups for easy entry. Ive had many boats over the years (34-PQ, 38 Cig TG, 42 Sonic, 37 A.T. and this is my 3rd 43 Nortech) and do over night, and Nortech has the plushest cabin and cockpit of them all. Also, like some of the other threads Ive been read where when running hard all the ammenities fall down or apart, totally not true. Never had a problem, extremely solid powerboat, not only for going fast but comfortable as well. Good Luck in your decision. Jeff

here's another point..check out the headliner, not glued to the underside of the fiberglass deck. Headliner material is suspended on rails to give a nice tight finish. Check the stitching out, I purposely went with a contrasting blue stitch so you can see how straight and precise the workmanship is. Jeff
