Default 89 23 WARLOCK WORLD CLASS, 500 PSHP, How fast??

Anyone know this hull. 330 at the prop yields 73 mph. The boat is loosing about 200 lbs and gaining about 170 hp. Wondering what the gps might read balls out in the right water.

I owned a 24' Euro for years which is the same boat. Never had a 500 exactly, I jumped from 330 to about 575 and it made it a solid 88mph ride. Over 90 and it is a squirrelly ride.

Nope, this was years ago. Just a calibrated Nordskog. Compared to radar. usually within 2-4mph.

Still dont think 80 is being greedy with 500 pshp and a ton of torque. Any pics of the boat? Hered my ebay special.

You should put a 540 in that thing.

Call Tom Stolar ((951) 371-8247), he built it and will tell you what it will do. Is that a TRS? 80 will be pushing it, those drives where pretty deep. You might concider a Konrad with a shorty for more speed.

It had a small block and an alpha. IM going to a Bravo, Have the steering. Dont really like tabs on smaller boats. Thanks.

Tabs should help your speed by increasing the running surface. Try Arneson rocker plates, work great on small hulls.
