Default This ain't your Daddy's Whaler

I've been rigging my friend's 25ft 1989 Whaler for the last few weeks. It's an old tub, but he says he'll keep it till he dies. He also has over $7000 in this new aluminum trailer. Complete new interior. 1200 watt stereo, LED lighting throughout, all new Autometer guages, $1500 Livorsi controls, $2800 Lowrance GPS, fishfinder screen. And best of all! two new Mercury 300XS motors! Talk about overkill! This boat had a pair of 1989 150's on it. We were gonna run it today, but it got too late. I'm hoping for 75-80 mph, but we'll see. Here's some pics.

Let us know when you get it dialed in. We'll hook up a tube to that ski pylon and find out whose really got some nads.

Yes, Joe Perog is the owner. And yes he did peel off the Optimax part of the decals.

Nice boat, but I don't think that it was designed to go that fast. Be careful
