O.K. winter is fun and all but we have had constant winter weather for about 3 months now. I am ready to get out of the house without three layers.:party-smiley-004:Enough said.

Its about 70 here, haven't seen snow all year and I still can't go boating yet. Mechanic says to wait till the end of March.

Walked out of the St. Louis boat show Saturday and it was 58 degrees and sunny. That really got me in the mood to get the season started.

Perlmudder 02-12-2008 03:09 PM

walked to the bar in a button down the other night. it was like 25 degrees out. thankgod for liquid courage!

other then that, was at the cottage this other day snow and ice was up to the beach wall. still got a couple more months of hell i guess!

I'm hoping more people start breaking out the boats from storgae and putting them back up for sale since I'm looking, but we still have another 2 months before that happens around here. Until then I'm just going to ride my sled to fill the void.

Yeah, looking out the window on the 17th floor in NYC and the snow is coming down at a pretty good clip.

Oh nothing big yet.....that I know of.

Oil changes, outdrive serviced, temp gauges fixed, possibly new bellows, and anything else they find during the mechanical inspection. I don't have time to fix things myself, not that I would know how to anyways. So I always have my mechanic go through the boat every spring looking for things that may give me trouble. All I've ever done is turn the key and clean up. Kind of embarrasing, but thats all I have time to do so I pay someone else to make sure everything is ship shape. Turn key and go, no headaches so far (knock on wood).
