just wondering if anyone has experienced broken gimbal rings on the b-max outdrives

Is it a Bravo Shop gimbal or merc. Bravo 1 gimbal?

You can have it repaired. Personally I would check the Imco HD ring. It retails for less than 1k.

Thats a common problem, mainly with big heavy boats....

Consider another option, as from what i've seen, you could be repairing it over and over

is the B-max drive breaking the bravo gimbal a common thing because the B-max's size?

Two years and 130 hours my Merc. HP gimbals with BMax's and the gimbals are in great shape..... I rebuilt them last winter and there was nothing more than normal wear and tear... gimbals were 6 years old...
