There are two reasons for scoops . Ample air if you have superchargers , secondly keeping ambient temperatures
cooler in an enclosed engine compartment with exhaust vents to expel hot air quickly . If your girlfriend/wife loves to lounge on the back deck it's totally useless ,heh .

I guess I don't have any pics of the underside ...... I only had the engine in those pics and framed out the hatch underside. It wasn't real pretty since the hole in the hatch was bigger than the bottom hole in the scoop, I just decided not to cut out either anymore than they were ... it worked well for the purpose of cosmetics!

The point of my scoop is to force air right into the flame arrestor . The engine bay is not large enough to hold the motor i swapped out so i needed a hole in my hatch. Thus a scoop was nessesary for the optimal air and to cove the hole.Hey GHL 1. That is one bad azz Cig. 2. is the hatch and scoops molded as one. The way mine is set upi need to put it on seprate and cant mold it together so i want it to look best as possable. Thanks for all the pics and keep them coming its given me great ideas and help
