We'll definitely be out on Sunday and maybe Saturday too. Always fun to watch everybody practice on Saturday. :cool-smiley-027:

The Budget Inn right in town is a nice little place too if anyone's looking for a room. There's not a whole lot of rooms but they usually keep it clean. There's also the Lakeside Inn which has recently been renovated. It's on Alligator Lake just on the Melbourne side of St. Cloud on 192.

Is there more than one boat ramp to put in? Don't the race boats tie one up?

Ryan Beckley 02-28-2008 01:01 PM

The are a few ramps at the lake....it's a fun race to go to.

I think the city ramp on the south side is only closed off on Sunday, but there are 2 others on the lake that are public. One is at Chisolm Park on the east side and the other is at East Lake Fish camp on the north end. The fish camp is a reallly nice ramp and charges I think $2.00, but it's well worth it, because the one at Chisolm Park is a mad house on Sundays. :hitfan:

Sounds like a plan. Rick you're welcome to ride with me.... my boat doesn't run out of beer.

If anyone needs a secure (fenced) place to park their boat over night let me know. I just live down the street from the Fish Camp ramp.
