I agree to all stated but change it to my age 61. Been boating more years (55 years) than most members age. Owned 20 boats or I should say thats all I can remember. :D

This is last year in my 50's, but my Dad will be 88 next month so I still feel young...

I'm 54. Got my first boat 30 years ago and had one since, but just got my first offshore boat last August so I'm a rookie on the offshore scene. Hope to have as much fun as everyone here speaks of.

How many of you are 50 or over and actively offshore boating?

You SOB! You just had to start this thread to remind me I have less than two weeks remaining of being able to say I am 40 something. :angry-smiley-038:

Damn, where DID the last 49 years go?! :cool-smiley-027:

OK, that's it...I'm 49 and holding....

Dam now I feel bad for snapping at some of you in other threads, I was told to respect my elders :D I am only 37 but my parents passed when I was in my early 20's I have had a full time job since I was 16. I have been riding/racing/crashing motorcycles over 30 years and have been with the same girl for 18 years and no male in my family has made it to 65 so I feel 60. But I still say it's just a number.
