ya know I dont have a dog in this fight either but the similarities between him and douchebag fred are amazing. They guarded this site like crazy bashing others that got close to their field of making money all the while doing illegal shiit behind the scenes...

As for the situation showing up in the paper or on the 6:00 news, if the feds have a big investigation and they pick someone up in one state and extredite them to Texas who would contact the press? I think it would be kept quiet as there are probably more people connected they want to question. They may start looking into all of the other boats that have vanished without a trace over the past year or two trying to find a connection.
Hopefully it's all a big misunderstanting!
Hate to think it but kinda makes sense what Gino & Rob are sayin .He's been gone for a while now and by now he would have been all over this thread . Leon @Dereberry knew nothin bout no repo and the gates are open all day long

If it was he's coming back to the airwaves, maybe it's an upcoming story...

I agree with Geno that if the was an investigation it would be kept quiet but I would think they could have done something before the boat was put to the shredder....That gives me shivers just thinking of that beautiful boat being cut up and destroyed...

In any REPO case you will have papers from the bank stating default on the loan and for how long it been that way. Once the said item is located you must go to the local P.D. and let them know whats going on and show them all of the paper work from the bank and your REPO license. So when the owner reports it stolen they will correct them and no stolen vehicle report can be made for a claim to an Insurance company. If it is at a storage yard or maitenance facility you have the right to take it , the charges can be paid and the bank will reimburse the Reposseser . and tack it on to thier expense .

You can't just cut a lock and take something in the dead of night because someone tells you they have defaulted on a loan , a little more complicated than that. Their are alot of rules to that game of playing REPO man, I used to do it........

It was Jeff who ran rampant with his maligned, ill-mannered sht-on-everyone attitude, so that he can steal business and line his pockets. Jeff went out of his way to make it a point to pizz on everyone who dared offer up an empty hitch to their OSO friends -- oh no, don't you dare, the expert's come to the rescue, everyone else is unworthy. Some of you will remember this period of time.

I'm sorry. I looked at the threads you posted, and what I see are several people jumping all over BgChubby01, not the other way around. I don't see any problem with someone in the transportation business advising people to be sure that the carrier they use has insurance, or that their insurance coverage is applicable. A loss of that magnitude would be financially devastating for many people.
