Jeff was going to haul a Boat for me, I guess now I know why he is not answering his cell or emails. HOWEVER I will give him the benefit of doubt and we are all NOT GUILTY until proven otherwise.......So lets not hang Jeff just yet.

Jeff--give me a PM or call when this clears up and we can still hit the Pizza place in the Villages and have a laugh over this.

P.S> I spent a few nights in a Bolivian Prison and it was a case of the wrong guy. You never know until you get the whole story!

First I want to thank OSO administration for allowing me back to share some facts with all of you. I'm NOT here to cause problems with anyone, I'm mearly here to share what information I have, you guys can draw your own conclusions from there....

I had been in contact with Jeff for the last several months and his father actually moved a boat for me from Florida here to Alabama sometime in late September early November 2007.

Most recently I purchased one of the Chris Cats on the OSO classifieds and was in contact with Jeff to move the boat for me from Dayton, OH to Alabama for me.... Here is a copy of what I posted on another thread....

No assumption here....this is straight from the horses mouth.

for the last 4-5 weeks I have been in the process of buying a Chris Cat off the OSO classifieds. I contacted Jeff to move the boat for me, his dad previously moved a boat for me out of Florida. He was in California and headed east to LOTO and was going to swing up to Ohio and bring the Chris Cat to Alabama, is what he told me.

After several delays with the owner of the Chris Cat Jeff and I had pushed the move date around. When it was finally time to go Jeff's mother was ill and I believe in the hospital. He told me he was hanging out with the parents for a few days over the weekend and hitting the road the upcoming Monday toward LOTO.

I called him that Monday afternoon and he still had not left. From his mouth he told me that he was in some chit. He told me that he "unknowingly transported a stolen boat" and I honestly believed him.....Whether I believe him or not it is FACT that he said that to me word for word.....

Jeff seems like a stand up guy and honestly I'm shocked to see this, but so were allot of you with the Trick Marine saga.

There was allot more said in my previous conversations with Jeff, and there was certainly things said that can go either way. I wont say them now because I dont want to get flamed later if they are taken the wrong way.....

The last time I saw a "Real Jeff" post on OSO was a few weeks ago when he was looking for something from LOTO headed to Florida. This post was about a week after he told me he was in some chit. I remember seeing the post and being a little pissed that the Chirs Cat move got bumped....

Now a few days later and with things out in the open there is something not one of you has posted or maybe realized, and I'm not sticking up for anyone here....

Jeff Murray didnt steal any of those boats, he may have transported them to a date with the wood chipper but actually steal them dismantle them or resell them for profit I'm sure he did not. I'm pretty sure he had a good idea they were going to become lawn chips though...

Keep in mind folks the only boats that were sent to the wood chipper were boats that were for sale, at least that I'm aware of but I could be wrong.

As I said before this is going to be interesting the way it unfolds. If I was one of the boat owners that made it to the wood chipper I sure would be thinking about changing my Huggies right about now....

been watching this a few days... not sure what to think... Jeff helped me out once, went out of his way to do so, had lunch in a great little italian place in SOCAL with a couple other guys. Jeff always struck me as opiniated, bull headed, a guy who knew his stuff when it came his turn at plate, in short, the kind of guy I like.

For me, he deserves to have this heard to the fullest extent of the law before he gets judged around here as anything more than a guy who was trying to get all the work he could. When I was looking for a boat hauler everyone said "call jeff", and a dozen or more people went out of their way to speak up for him and the great job he had done. He has earned enough respect around here to merit what we would all want, an assumption of innocence until proven guilty.

Met him one day at fastboats.com in Pompano Beach. Seemed like a great guy. Hope this turns out to be nothing.
